What is Mother Nation?
Mother Nation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that delivers social and cultural healing services for Native women that nurture, create stability, and inspire growth through sisterhood. We deliver transformative cultural healing services, advocacy and mentorship to inspire Native American/Alaskan Native women to reclaim their cultural identity as matriarchs through traditional teachings, sisterhood, and learning cultural healing tools to manage multi-abuse trauma and homelessness due to historical and inter-generational trauma and violence.
Who does Mother Nation serve?
We primarily serve Native American/Alaskan Native women and families, including single Native dads in our community. Our programs are survivor led, culturally responsive and designed to honor Indigenous traditions and values.
Is Mother Nation only for enrolled tribal members?
No, our services are available to all who can identify as Native women and men and who are seeking cultural connection and healing services.

What types of programs do you offer?
Cultural healing circles, homeless prevention services, mentorship programs, leadership workshops, cultural training and education, crisis support and advocacy, community gatherings and events
How do your cultural healing circles work?
Our healing circles are facilitated by experienced Native leaders who create safe, supportive spaces for sharing, healing, and growth. Circles incorporate traditional practices, storytelling, and cultural teachings.
What does your homeless prevention program include?
- Emergency rental assistance
- Housing navigation services
- Financial literacy education
- Resource connection and referrals
- Advocacy with landlords and housing providers
- Support in maintaining stable housing

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, Mother Nation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
How are donations used?
Donations directly support our programs and services, including: cultural healing programs, emergency assistance for women in crisis, educational workshops and training, community events and gatherings, operational costs to maintain our services
Do you accept in-kind donations?
Yes, we accept specific in-kind donations that align with our programs’ needs. Please contact us for our current donation wish list and acceptance guidelines.

Yes, we maintain strict confidentiality for all program participants. Your privacy and safety are our top priorities.
